BACKGROUND: Background

Appearance: The important things to note is without illusions October's hair has streaks of pale blonde through it. Her ears come to dull points, sharper every time her blood shifts a little closer to full fae. Her eyes are the no-color grey of a foggy morning. Her features are sharp, something else she dulls down when she places illusions over herself.
POWER:

Fae Changeling As a half blooded fae, dawn and iron are painful to Toby. To explain, dawn weakens fae magic. Things such as protections around a place, even simple spells take damage from the dawn. Each dawn weakens them further if they're not reapplied. Illusions can be stripped from a fae caster and have to be recast.
A fae's illusions are made from their magic and shadows, leaves, dust, something from around them. Toby sucks at illusions, only able to expertly cast them when she's angry. This is because the source of illusions the Summer Queen Titania. Being a child of Oberon's line she lacks that. But, because her magic is all blood related she can borrow that power. More than that in Dochas Sidhe.
Iron is the bane of all fae, changeling or not. Some Changelings are so thin blooded that iron only makes them uncomfortable. Toby's fae enough that even being near iron is not only painful but poisonous. Iron poisoning is deadly, making the skin blister where the iron touches it. Like a poison it sweeps through the body bringing fevers, and madness. Too long with iron and a fae goes entirely mad.
Dochas Sidhe
As a Dochas Sidhe Toby is only blessed with Oberon’s line of magic and as such, blood magic is her weapon of choice. She can smell the magic contained in the blood and feels the pull of it like a siren's song. Even a tiny drop of blood will call to her and let her follow a path to the person bleeding. Even dried blood is something she can use. But, if it's dried it won't be as potent unless it's her own blood.
Toby can power herself up the most by drinking her own blood or the blood of someone far more powerful than she is. Through drinking blood she can cut through mind control, subtle mental influences, and see enchantments. The magic that allows her this helps her break enchantments and by drinking the blood of someone else she can 'borrow' the power within the blood.
Say she drinks the blood of a teleporter with the memory of using that magic within it. She can use that power just once. She has to drink again with the same conditions to use it again. Speaking of memory, she can 'ride' the blood she drinks, tasting and witnessing the memories contained with.
Toby can regenerate at an alarming rate, even coming back from death its self a few times. Killing her is very difficult. She can recover from breaking every bone in her body or being stabbed in the heart with a little help, but being what she is isn't without its prices. Yes she can recover but the pain never dulls. Every cut. Every break is as bad as the first and stays that way until her bones or skin knits together. To get enough blood to power her up she might have to cut herself more than once or deep enough to get.
With how fast she heals she has to make sure her bones are set before they mend or they will have to be broken again. Drugs don't last for long. Coffee or pain killers are in and out of her system in no time at all. This too has a problem. If a drug is better as a fae, her magic will react trying to shift her blood in that direction no matter what she desires. It can also go the other way until there's not enough power to keep going.
It's something she's consciously aware of just like the scents of others magic. Her magic seems to have a library it files every magical scent into. Meeting a person adds their magical scent to it and she can taste their heritage with a breath in. If she doesn't know what someone is or a scent is, her magic still files it away. The proper name for it comes when someone tells her.
But, Toby has limits, as much as she powers up from her own blood, she has to hurt herself to get that blood and there is only so much blood in the body. If there's any kind of poison in the blood she will get sick from it.
